The FORMLYY story

The observation

We never wanted to replace salespeople.

We wanted to give them their job back.

Arthur, Jocelin and Hugo, Formlyy co-founders - The observation

For years, Hugo worked in different sales environments. In every company, the same pattern kept coming back.

Salespeople were spending less and less time selling. Prospecting, audits, follow-ups, CRM updates, messages, and qualification work slowly took over the day.

At the end of the day, they had worked hard without really selling. The job they had chosen was becoming an administrative job.

Arthur, Jocelin and Hugo asked themselves a simple question: what if a salesperson could finally focus on what they do best, selling?

That is how Formlyy was born. Not as another piece of software, but as an AI-powered sales assistant.

Before Formlyy

The story started long before Formlyy

Before building a startup, Arthur, Jocelin and Hugo were already a team. They all grew up around Lyon and have known each other since childhood.

From kindergarten to high school, they shared the same instinct: building things. At 14, they were already launching their first projects. Some worked. Many failed. Every attempt taught them something.

In 2022, they created PIKT, an association designed to fund impact projects through companies. That experience taught them how to work together on an ambitious project.

That same dynamic now sits at the heart of Formlyy: three complementary profiles, one ambition, building a Sales Tech reference.

Building

Building AI means solving problems nobody sees.

Creating an intelligent sales agent is not a smooth ride. The team had to learn how to control AI models that can behave unpredictably.

They had to fix incoherent conversations, understand why an agent sometimes made the wrong decision, and work within the constraints of the WhatsApp Business API.

While others raised millions, they chose another path: bootstrapping. Building the product, creating the marketing, signing the first customers, and designing the processes themselves.

That pressure forced the team to learn fast. Today, Formlyy is a stable, high-performing sales agent designed for real-world conditions.

Today

Formlyy automates what slows sales teams down.

Arthur, Jocelin and Hugo, Formlyy co-founders - Today

The Formlyy Agent contacts qualified prospects, starts the conversation, answers objections, follows up at the right time, filters out weak-fit leads, books appointments, and updates the CRM in real time.

Sales teams get back to what they were hired for: selling.

Our ambition is simple: in a few years, it should feel unthinkable for a salesperson to spend the day chasing prospects or filling a CRM. Their time is worth more than that.
